If I might also add my two cents: Pollinators do love the dandelion flowers. They are a nice part of nature and supporting pollinators is a positive thing. (oh, and whatever poison the lawn care company uses will be bad for pollinators, too)

I know, I know... When I was a kid my father would arm my brother, sister and me with paring knives and send us into the yard to do hand to hand combat with the dandelions. But I have learned they are maybe not so bad. There are certainly other weeds far worse (foxtail comes to mind)
