My Turn in the Questions Hot Seat
To quote the writer Mark Starlin “There is an epidemic of questions and tagging going around this joint” and I am delighted that Terrye Turpin added me to the fun.
Delighted, because I have been suffering a drought of story ideas, meaning no idea what to write and a real need to write something, so the timing couldn’t be better. (This appears to be a common problem for me)
I thought this would be a slam dunker of a story to write, but Terrye asks incredibly good and thought-provoking questions, so I put some real effort into this.
Herewith, my responses:
1. You have volunteered to spend a year in an unpaid internship. What are you doing and who are you working with?
Assuming I can get all of my expenses paid by an overindulgent parent, sibling, or aunt and uncle, I would do an internship in New York with Isaac Mizrahi. I am not in the fashion world but I love it and I adore his style. He is a consummate artist and I would absorb as much as I could for as long as…
