This is such a beautiful story, wistful and melancholy. I have family in Tacoma and this made me homesick for them. When I visit I am always startled to see Rainier. Like "oh hey you! There you are!"

On my most recent visit, was waiting for the ferry from Anderson island and idly chatting with family and glanced over and was startled. Felt like that beautiful mountain was right there listening in to our discussion.
